Employee Tracking: Monthly Measurement

This method of measuring and identifying full-time employees must be used by employers electing to not use the look-back measurement method.  Effectively, every month, the employer would look at each calendar month’s hours of service for each employee.


Using this method, employee’s may bounce back and forth between part-time and full-time status as there is no stability.  


Employees are non-assessed until the 1st day of the fourth month even in the monthly method.
